After one of last winters storms our family room ceiling was severely damaged (partly collapsed) by water. We contacted American Plaster & Drywall, they were very prompt in coming out and providing a quote for the refinishing of the ceiling. All our interactions with the personal from American Plaster & Drywall, from the first visit by the estimator, the work done by the craftsmen and conversations with the owner were very pleasant and we enjoyed having them in our home. Our ceiling had a very subtle texture pattern that needed to be matched. Finding the correct texture brush proved to be a challenge. A challenge their craftsman would not give up on. We own a 100 year old house that has plaster and lathe ceilings, so when 2 x 3 sections of our living room and guest room ceilings caved in due to water damage, I shopped around for an expert that had experience with such repairs. Not wanting to use just a "handyman" that would do no better a job than I could myself---this wasn't just a "drywall repair"---, I was initially unsuccessful in my search, but then I finally found American Plaster and Drywall----and I couldn't be happier that I didn't settle for less expertise . This company employs meticulous craftsmen, and to say they did a superb job would be a vast understatement. Not only did the workman carefully protect the walls and floor with plastic and cloth (the least of my concerns), but much more importantly his workmanship was truly "old world outstanding"--you can't possibly detect which areas of the ceilings were repaired. This company obviously has lots of experience working on houses with old fashioned plaster and lathe, is willing to take on even comparatively small repair jobs, and I will certainly be using them in the future when we remodel some of our other rooms. I also found their prices to be very reasonable; they showed up on time for both the estimate and the repair; and by watching him work I even got some excellent tips on how to do a few minor repairs myself. I highly recommend this company without any reservations.

The entire team was very professional in all aspects of the job. The project included replacing and repairing drywall, replacing joints, matching textured ceiling sealing and repainting several rooms. The team was considerate of our needs and American Plaster will be my first and only call the next time I need these services.

Techs arrived on time each day, were polite, and worked hard. They protected all areas with drop cloths and plastic, and cleaned up each day before they left. They are very skilled, did a great job repairing areas, and matched the texture. They asked me to evaluate their work after completing each project before they moved on. Owner called the day after they finished to make sure I was satisfied with the work. I will definitely recommend and hire them again.

Very over priced estimate for work. It was a small job that only require them to apply mud. No drywall cutting at all. If they don't want to do small jobs they should just say that instead the estimate came back close to $1800.00. Very, very over priced. Had to give a star in order post.
